As week 4 of quarantine quickly approaches and Easter is just a couple days away, I figured stress levels might be running a little high and food procurement questionable. The solution, very easy, 3 ingredient cocktail recipes.
Today, I pay homage to the humble and often overlooked grapefruit. Go ahead and get that image of the cherry topped, halved grapefruit bowl out of your head. As delightful as that can be, food shortages are the new standard and I'm saving all of my citrus for cocktails, not breakfast. (I'm not kidding. You'd think it's Christmas morning in our house when my wife sees that the Instacart shopper....that she's stalking online....was able to purchase the citrus she asked for). Anyway, the great thing about freshly squeezed grapefruit juice is that is pairs so well with many different liquors that you hopefully have on hand. The only question you need to ask yourself is "which one should I try first?"
