If you've followed along with this blog, then you know there's more than one way to make a cocktail. My cocktail for the evening, the Dark & Stormy, is a perfect example of this. Yes, most people make this cocktail with ginger beer. However, that's not something I always stock and I certainly didn't feel like stopping at the store on my way home. Luckily, Death & Co has an alternative recipe. (Not to mention the wife always has a piece of fresh ginger the fridge/freezer.) Instead of ginger beer, they use a combination of ginger syrup and club soda. It's not quite the same but it still makes for a delicious cocktail and a great trick to know for the next time you run out of ginger beer. So let's whip up some ginger syrup and get on to the cocktails.
His Cocktail - Dark & Stormy
